The Edmonton Hung Mun Athletic Club (EHMAC) is a not for profit organization. We are also known as the Chinese Freemasons Athletic Club. The Lion Dance and Kung Fu Troupe of the EHMAC is a volunteer based troupe that performs at various events throughout Western Canada. Classes are lead by two Coaches with a combined of more than 35 years experience in a safe, friendly, and fun environment.

EHMAC performers varies in levels of experience and skills. We mainly practice the Foshan (Cantonese: Fut San) style of lion dance. Our style of lion dance mainly derives from the China Nanhai Huang Fei Hong Zhonglian Dragon Lion and Martial Arts Troupe in Foshan, China.

Many schools operate on a commercial level, however, we strive on the quality of instruction rather than profit. We are a traditional troupe, therefore, we place a high value in the quality of our performances.

We teach trust, respect, mutual understanding, and discipline. We also promote health, wellness, athleticism, and culture for all our students. We do not discriminate. We will continue to teach anyone who is willing to learn, who has spirit, effort, and heart.
